Writing a SCOadmin manager

Adding managers to the SCOadmin hierarchy

Once you have created a SCOadmin application, you have the option of adding it to the hierarchy so that it can be accessed via a desktop icon or with the SCOadmin launcher (graphical and character).

Preparing a new manager for use requires the following:

The scoadmin command is used to add, update and delete managers from the hierarchy. The following example copies an application called Cat Manager.obj from /tmp to a new folder in the hierarchy called Demos:

scoadmin -p Demos -l /tmp/"Cat Manager.obj"

See scoadmin(ADM) for more information.
