Introducing SCO Visual Tcl

Some useful features of SCO Visual Tcl

Some of the more useful features of SCO Visual Tcl include:

Help facility
You can easily create context-sensitive links into the DocView help system for your applications. Short help -- descriptive text that appears on-screen based on mouse pointer focus -- is also available.

See ``Adding online help'' for more information.

DrawnList capabilities
Use the DrawnList features of SCO Visual Tcl to create lists which can be expanded or contracted, and which can contain pixmaps to provide graphical status cues.

See VtDrawnList(VTCL) for more information.

Tab groups
``Tab groups'' -- widgets that are treated as a group that you move to with a specific key (usually <Tab>) -- allow users to move around complex forms more quickly. Movement within a tab group is usually accomplished with the arrow keys.

See VtAddTabGroup(VTCL) for more information.
