adb: absolute debugger

adb(CP) is a source level debugger for C and assembly language programs. It provides a set of commands to examine, debug and repair executable binary files as well as examine non-ASCII data files. adb provides a method of looking at the contents of files in a variety of formats and structures. The following aspects of adb are outlined in this chapter: The adb program supports both the COFF and ELF executable file formats.
