psignal, psiginfo -- system signal messages

Description

psignal- produce system signal messages

psiginfo- produce system signal messages

psignal(S) and psiginfo(S) produce messages on the standard error output describing a signal.

sig is a signal that may have been passed as the first argument to a signal handler.

pinfo is a pointer to a siginfo structure that may have been passed as the second argument to an enhanced signal handler (see sigaction(S)).

The argument string s is printed first, then a colon and a blank, then the message and a newline.

Return values

psignal( ) and psiginfo( ) do not return any values.

Diagnostics

This function does not set errno.
